OUR HISTORY
Racing Radios, at the time still under the name of its parent company, Diversified Electronics, officially began its work in motorsports by assisting the competition director of NASCAR with a few radio communication needs. After Diversified Electronics was successful in offering a solution, word began to spread. NASCAR then asked if Diversified Electronics could bring a van to the NASCAR garage area to help drivers and teams with their radio communication needs. As time went on the company began to manufacture accessories for two-way radios using Motorola equipment designed to enhance the quality of racing communications.
Racing Radios was formed as a division of Diversified Electronics, and ten years later Racing Radios was incorporated.
From 2016-2018, Racing Radios Served as the Official Two-Way Services Provider for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). Racing Radios' first customer was Richard Petty, and to this day he still wears our world class blue headsets proudly.
